Professor Mari Katayanagi is a specialist in peacebuilding at Hiroshima University with a background in international law, particularly international human rights law. Drawing on her experience as a peacekeeping and peacebuilding practitioner, her research applies a human rights lens to understanding how conflict and peacebuilding affect individuals.
